Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms
By scheduling, booking, or using services provided by AJF Junk Removal ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you ("Customer," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Services Provided
AJF Junk Removal offers junk removal and dumpster rental services within the Metro Detroit, Michigan area. Services include but are not limited to:

  • Residential and commercial junk removal

  • Dumpster rental and delivery

  • Property cleanouts (estates, foreclosures, etc.)

  • Appliance and furniture removal

  • Emergency board-up services

3. Pricing and Payment

  • Pricing is based on the volume of junk removed, type of materials, labor required, dumpster size, and rental duration.

  • All quotes are estimates unless specified as a flat-rate offer.

  • Payment is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements are made for commercial accounts.

  • We accept credit cards, cash, checks.

  • A late fee may be applied to overdue invoices.

4. Dumpster Rental Terms

  • Rental periods are typically 3days unless otherwise agreed.

  • Please Review our weight restrictions:

    • 2 tons (4000 pounds) come with the rental. Anything above that is $45 per ton with a max of 3.25 tons (6500 pounds).

  • prohibited materials in dumpsters include hazardous waste, chemicals, tires, batteries, and flammable materials. Violations will result in additional disposal fees.

  • The Customer is responsible for ensuring the dumpster is placed on a stable, accessible surface (e.g., driveway, private property). AJF Junk Removal is not responsible for damage to surfaces due to placement.

5. Customer Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe and clear access to the junk removal site.

  • Identify any hazardous materials (e.g., asbestos, chemicals) prior to service.

  • Obtain any necessary permits for dumpster placement on public property (e.g., streets, sidewalks).

6. Limitation of Liability

  • AJF Junk Removal is not liable for damage to property unless caused by our gross negligence.

  • We are not responsible for items mistakenly discarded by the Customer.

  • The total liability of AJF Junk Removal shall not exceed the total amount paid for services.

7. Cancellation and Rescheduling

    • We kindly request that you provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

    • There is currently no fee for cancellations or reschedules. We believe in trust and understanding with our customers.

    8. Disposal and Environmental Practices

  • We strive to recycle and donate items whenever possible.

  • Certain materials may incur higher disposal fees due to special handling requirements (e.g., electronics, mattresses).

9. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of [County Name] County, Michigan.

10. Changes to Terms

  • We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Items We Do Not Accept

For the safety of our team, our equipment, and the environment, AJF Junk Removal cannot accept the following materials:

  • Tires (all sizes and types)

  • Concrete, Bricks, Asphalt, or Dirt

  • Wet Paint (Liquid paint of any kind)

  • Hazardous Materials:

    • Chemicals, Solvents, Poisons

    • Oil, Gasoline, Diesel Fuel

    • Propane Tanks & Helium Tanks

  • Combustible or Flammable Materials:

    • Batteries (Car, Lithium-ion, etc.)

    • Aerosol Cans (unless completely empty)

    • Lighters, Fuels, Fireworks

  • Other Regulated Items:

    • Medical Waste or Sharps

    • Radioactive Materials

    • Freon-containing Appliances (unless properly tagged as evacuated by a certified technician)

A Note on Roofing Shingles

  • We can accept asphalt roofing shingles, but in moderation due to their weight and disposal requirements.

Maximum Limit: 20 squares of shingles per job.


Important: You must inform us in advance if your project includes shingles. This allows us to:
